The Australian Rhythmic Gymnastics team nearly fought out a famous victory in Manila, but an illness to a team member proved to be too much to overcome, as the Aussies finished in second place, just over a point behind New Zealand.

Team members Alex Kiroi-Bogatyreva, Li-Lou Burns Gillet and Alex Eedle, alongside coaches Katie Sigsworth and Vanessa Gillet.
